Office 365 doesn't recognize my Microsoft account

I just bought a subscription to Office 365 and entered my email and password for my Microsoft account and the program is telling me that it doesn't recognize that account, which is the only MS account I have and so definitely the one that I used to install the program for the trial period.

    My outlook email and Excel is not working and says I do not have an account but I have just renewed it.

    I've had this problem across multiple PCs. In each case, the user is signed in to their Microsoft account (both into Windows and into Office). Viewing the account details via the web shows an active Office 365 subscription. The banner and limited functionality in the Office programs is hence totally unwarranted, and very frustrating and confusing for the average user! I have found that logging out and in again can eventually cause the problem to go away - but it may recur.

    I just installed the upgrade and my Office 365 cannot connect to my account or skydiver. So for example I cannot access my OneNote books on Skydiver. I only have one account

    why can;t get on the site
