Office 365 - Where is picture manager?

Done Broke: I think that "jack" is also saying exactly the same thing you are. He misses Picture Manager too. Unfortunately he used the "reply with quote" option and added his comment (the last 2 paragraphs) in the "blue box", thereby hiding them.

Thank you for providing your feed back.  You and MILLIONS of other users have said the same thing.  MS does not "care".  The "old" user interface in Picture Manager is not part of their ongoing "direction"/"view" for the development of Windows and Office.  Maybe if hundreds of millions of users complain they will bring it back (NOT likely!).

On the other hand, there is a simple, FREE!, fix for your problem.  Did you notice that earlier on in the discussion I have provided links to FREE downloads from MS that give you a FREE copy of the 2007/2010 version of Picture Manager and instructions on how to load it alongside of your Office 013 installation.   Download (and SAVE) the installation file so you have it for future use.

this worked great. Simple and Quick. I will add that 365 was a BAD decision. So may workarounds and so non user friendly.

By responding in this fashion, you are missing the entire point of this thread.

Of course we all know that Windows Live Photo Gallery is available as well as other image viewing options. However, what everyone is saying here is that we would prefer to use Office Picture Manager. We miss it! 

It was, and still is, an extremely user friendly and effective means of manipulating/modifying images. 

Hopefully, the Microsoft team will take note of this, and several other posts across various forums that are saying the same thing. Please give us back Office Picture Manager as a mainstream option. It rocks! Fortunately, there are still several ways to obtain it retrospectively.

Hopefully, MS will not close that option for us in Windows 10.

Office Picture Manager Tool is no more accessible from the Office Tools folder. There is no Office tool that will explicitly replace Picture Manager but there are picture editing tools within the core apps (like Word, PowerPoint or Excel) that can accomplish many of the same editing functionality which exist in Picture Manager.

You can also use Windows Live Photo Gallery to accomplish all tasks since it has a super set of the Picture Manager features.

This is unacceptable. This was a very useful and quick tool. Microsoft, you need to stop ending tools like this and functionality also.

I was use this tool everyday.
