I work with Office2010 in a Win10 environment simultaneously using a desktop, laptop, and Android phone. My solution for several years has been to use IMAP for syncing email across all devices and using gSyncit to sync Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes
across all devices. If you use Toodledo, Evernote, Informant, Simplenote, Nozbe, or Wunderlist, gSyncit will sync those as well.
gSyncit is simply an Add-On to Outlook that will perform a 2-way sync between Outlook and Google. After installing gSyncit on your desktop and laptop, they'll both sync with Google. Because your Android phone/tablet are designed to sync with Google, they
require no further configuration.
Also, because all of your Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes are now STORED on Google servers, you can, if need be, access the data using Chrome instead of Outlook. As an added bonus, all of your Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes are backed up in case
of theft, HDD failure, or putting a new PC or Android device into service.
My .pst still resides on my C drive, but I'm fully synced without using brute force. gSyncit is available from Fieldston Software.
Let me know how it works for you.
