Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    You can "open" the word document in QuickOffice and save as PDF.

    works like a champ.....this is a work around and a pain, iPad word "needs" this feature built in!

    Hello!

    doc to PDF is a must have function for word on iPad! Also it would be great to consider MIcrosoft Publisher on iPad!

    To export to PDF and to move files to other apps is essential, as PDF, since its the most used format for communication. I have used Adobe Reader with it's PDF Pack Feature, wich costs 9€ per month  and still doesnt't work with certain features, such as tilted text boxes. Without PDF Export, Microsoft Word for iPad is still inferior to Apple Pages, in terms of quality.
