Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

Can you tell me if the new update to Word for IPad on 11-16-2014 has fixed this issue? I hae tried to save a word document as a PDF and I am failing. Of course, I am an attorney that has spent the last 5+ years forgetting how to use Word b/c we had Word Perfect on our computers until this year, so I don't know how to use One Note and all that stuff. But my state has now converted to EDMS-electronic filing and I want to use my I Pad to create and file digitally signed documents. How can I do this or where do I look for the instructions/training on this issue? I can't get Word 365 for my work computer b/c it's State owned and they have Word 2010 on my 2014 supplied computer.

Please help!!!

Thanks for the update - the "email as PDF" function is a definite improvement, but it still really misses the "open in" other app as PDF. As a user with unreliable wifi access, I don't always have the option to email it to myself to get the PDF file to work with (the only way I can see to achieve this).

Please can we have this soon!

Otherwise - still the best spreadsheet app for iPad!

It is a step forward, but the possibility to save/export PDF to other app must be added ASAP.

Usually I like to see the PDF before sending it. This is the way I work.

I totally agree though I don't mind looking at it afterwards. The open-in feature would be most helpful. I also noticed that hyperlinks do not work when saving a PDF, this seems to happen on both Mac and iPad when saving as a PDF.

It's kind of annoying because it forces me to keep going onto my windows pc to save a proper PDF that I need to make for our website, because thats the only version that actually saves everything.

Otherwise the iPad apps are pretty good ands still new, so I guess I can look forward to future updates.
