I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30174-4” when trying to install Office. What should I do?

    The simplest answer I can give you is...first remove all traces of Office from your computer. Second, log into your account on Office.com/setup and select "install from a disc" (see below) and burn the program to a disc.  After you have the disc burnt, disconnect your computer from any network and install from the disc.  This should work, it did for me.  You may still have to call to activate, but at least you'll have it installed.  Good Luck!

    THIS WORKED!!! I CAN CONFIRM THIS WORKED! I uninstalled AVG free and halfway through the uninstalltion process Microsoft Office popped up and decided to install! Hopefully I'm not jumping the gun here but so far all good :)

    I'm installing from a DVD and I STILL GET THE SAME ERROR!?!?!?!!?

    WHY WILL MICROSOFT NOT FIX THIS? IT APPEARS HUNDREDS OF USERS ARE ISSUE INSTALLING 2013.

    OH WAIT, I GET, MICROSOFT HAS THEIR MONEY SO THEY DON'T GIVE A ****!!!!
