I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30174-4” when trying to install Office. What should I do?

    This is ridiculous, installed Office 365 for the very first time yesterday after a new computer build and today nothing works, what a balls up. I also have some important emails that I need to access but am unable to because of this **** up on microsofts part.

    The emails in question are backed up in an Outlook data file but then thats no use to me right now.

    I ran the uninstall program they suggest but then it won't let you reinstall, i've tried everything that has been suggested including going into regedit and removing any references to Ofiice (pst microsoft, perhaps your shitty uninstall program should do that, just a tip).

    Get this **** fixed!!

    If i use this office killer utility (fix it) button and it uninstalls all the office products, won't I lose all of my documents and excel data from this computer?

    I can't let that happen!
