Which Office 365 product did you purchase?

Did you register for Office 365 suite using the product key for the first time?

Are you installing Office 365 for the first time?

If not, a Product Key is only needed to set up your Microsoft account for the first time. Once you’ve set up a Microsoft account, you can install or reinstall Office at any time by visiting office.com/myaccount and signing in with your Microsoft account.

If you are asking about a Key, if you purchased a PC from Dell which included, or you paid for a version of Office, Dell would have supplied the means of installing/activating Office

actually if you want to upgrade from 365 university to 365 home you DO need the key. Unfortunately I lost mine...so I am also stuck and tired of seeing this same old response every time that you don't need your key for anything after you install. There are times you need the key.
