Hi Helen,

I would need more details to assist you:

How was Office 365 purchased and from where?

Which Office 365 product did you purchase?

Did you register for Office 365 suite using the product key for the first time?

Are you installing Office 365 for the first time?

If not, a Product Key is only needed to set up your Microsoft account for the first time. Once you’ve set up a Microsoft account, you can install or reinstall Office at any time by visiting office.com/myaccount and signing in with your Microsoft account.

Let us know the details and hope the information is helpful.

this seems like a straight forward question?  we can install 365 on 5 computers. I've only installed it on 3 computers. I need to install it on a forth computer but I've misplaced my card with the product key.  I bought the product via the ms store.  who do I recover the product key so I can install the product legally on another computer?

    thanks

    John

Why do you need to "retrieve" the 365 Product Key?

Once it has been associated with your email account you don't need it any more. Actually you can't use it again.

As Aravinda has already told you, the place to go is  https://www.office.com/myaccount[office.com/myaccount](http://office.com/myaccount)  to control activation and deactivation of your allocation of installations.
