how can I retrieve a product key for Office 365 that was lost

How was Office 365 purchased and from where?

Which Office 365 product did you purchase?

Did you register for Office 365 suite using the product key for the first time?

Are you installing Office 365 for the first time?

If not, a Product Key is only needed to set up your Microsoft account for the first time. Once you’ve set up a Microsoft account, you can install or reinstall Office at any time by visiting office.com/myaccount and signing in with your Microsoft account.

    i downloaded from the Microsoft website.  I have had the subscription for years.  It was Office 365 Home and it was registered at the time of purchase.  I cannot find the email that was sent to me years ago with the product key.  But a couple of days ago I got a recovery code.  I thought this was the same as the product key.  Where can i find my product key?  When i log into office.com/myaccount I am notified that it can not verify the recovery key i entered.

    I logged in there and it is telling me the recovery code is invalid.  Is there an option to download it again without the product key.  It doesn;t appear so.  I purchased Microsoft office 365 home subscription

    I bought a one year subscription at Best Buy when I bought my new desktop computer.  I must of registered it because I have Office on the computer.

    I just no longer have the Product code key.
