Hi Helen,

I would need more details to assist you:

How was Office 365 purchased and from where?

Which Office 365 product did you purchase?

Did you register for Office 365 suite using the product key for the first time?

Are you installing Office 365 for the first time?

If not, a Product Key is only needed to set up your Microsoft account for the first time. Once you’ve set up a Microsoft account, you can install or reinstall Office at any time by visiting office.com/myaccount and signing in with your Microsoft account.

Let us know the details and hope the information is helpful.

    Dan:

FYI, searching the forum for possible answers is good. But if you do not find an existing answer, it is MUCH better for you to start a new question. At the top of the page click on the "Participate" button and "ask a question".   If you tag your new issue onto an existing question that has been marked answered, very few people will look at it.  I am replying because I'm still on the email list for the old question.

    What is the same?

Did you buy a separate license for Office, or did it "come with" the computer?  Guessing, it sounds like "came with" is your problem. In that case take a look at this subpge of the MS Support "install" pages:

I have the same problem, but I am installing the Office 365 for the first time. I purchased it together with my Dell computer at the Best Buy store of Miami Plantation.
