Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
OK. So, the situation has not changed. No domains support in Office 365 Home. Back to my Word 2010.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I cannot seem to find out whether I can add my own private domain, i.e. not a business user, but I own a personalised domain, with Office 365 Home Premium.
In other words, I would like to use ******@mydomain.com instead of ******@outlook.com.
I know you can do this with Office 365 for Business, but need to know whether this can be done with Home Premium.
Thanks
Chris

No, your dev account is in fact like a business account. Office 365 Home is different and has no domain support. Therefore this thread.
More and more Microsoft gives us less advantages for paying the subscription. Soon there will be free Office apps for all devices and so you only will get 1TB OneDrive and Skype 60min. This is not enough for me, I will cancel the Office 365 Home subscription and just use the free Office. But if you would also get domain support, this would be a true advantage and worth paying.
Now, I hope Office 365 Home has the same settings as a Developer one. Here is the developer list of items in Admin Center and it lists Domains that has the settings mentioned by you (again, Office 365 Developer):
https://support.office.com/client/add-your-domain-name-6383f56d-3d09-4dcb-9b41-b5f5a5efd611
Could you please confirm you have the same setting on office 365 Home?
Thanks!
If you can now use custom domains (requiring mx records to be changed on a domain you own)
Could you please explain how to setup this function or where i can find these settings in 365 home??
Unless something has changed of late i have not seen this in there options.
Thank you!
365 Home supports any mail domain, for outlook, that provides the required mail protocol, pop, or Imap settings
Thanks, I did not have enough patience to read through the end of the discussion. Even a Developer Office 365 subscription has own domain option, but it's only 1 user. I edited my previous post. I am still disappointed that [free option] of domains.live option was discontinued. I don't need Office 365 but I want Outlook.com with my own domain.
Edit:
Now I see what you meant here. You can get email off any server of any domain using outlook, but you still cannot use Office 365 Home with your domain.
