Use of own domain name with Office 365 Home/Premium

I cannot seem to find out whether I can add my own private domain, i.e. not a business user, but I own a personalised domain, with Office 365 Home Premium.

In other words, I would like to use ******@mydomain.com instead of ******@outlook.com.

I know you can do this with Office 365 for Business, but need to know whether this can be done with Home Premium.

Thanks

Chris

I have tried phoning ms about using my own domain a few times and , until I read this message board, had thought the ms call centre had serious staffing issues as they would not back up claims back in an email. Now I have a better understanding of why they may have acted in a manner that I had thought showed a total contempt for their employer.

My domain was for a company but now I retain it simply as a private domain for myself and my partner. I had planned closing down my company website as my old website as it is no longer used and using the money to have office 365. I can't pay for my existing email host plus Office 365.

While for my own private use, I was keen to demonstrate to the local government agency I now work for how useful Office 365 could be so that we can better integrate and share information with other agencies and contractor's, assuming legal requirements could be met. I have all but given up.

Its all quite straightforward to use your own domain name, it simply requires you to use an appropriate mail provider/server in conjunction with that domain, and its added like any other mail account

Still no news from MS relating this issue? Find it hard to believe that no one @ MS has read this thread and cannot find someone who can give us a solution for this problem. MS should be ashamed!

Palcouks' replies for the past year and a half have been completely unresponsive to the original post or the issue discussed. I wouldn't look to his replies for answers.

I sometimes wonder if it's a bot posting reply
