Use of own domain name with Office 365 Home/Premium

I cannot seem to find out whether I can add my own private domain, i.e. not a business user, but I own a personalised domain, with Office 365 Home Premium.

In other words, I would like to use ******@mydomain.com instead of ******@outlook.com.

I know you can do this with Office 365 for Business, but need to know whether this can be done with Home Premium.

    This is incorrect. Outlook Premium service was recently discontinued for new subscribers. Some of the features were incorporated into Office 365 (ad free outlook for example), however custom domains are not supported.

    I was in contact with 4 different support personell until the conclusion was that my custom domain email (I own/control my own domain)  would continue to work with outlook.com as long as I had O365. Still not 100% confident as I got a email that told me  to renew my premium subscription. I tried to renew the premium sub, but that did not work and I was told it was because I have O365, it was not possible nor necessary to renew.

    I have signed up for office 365 home - which gives me 5 users (wife, kids, mum)

    At the same time I signed up to outlook premium which also allowed me to register my domain name.

    I know that outlook premium is no longer available for the "free" outlook.com (i.e. email only) but the description below does indicate "premium outlook.com" - so perhaps it is included?

    Worth investigating? It may just be that I signed up at the right time but I can confirm I am using Outlook.com (and all the office products) under O365 home as is my family.

    I'm actually willing to pay more for Outlook Premium in order to use my custom domain if only they let me.
