Use of own domain name with Office 365 Home/Premium

I cannot seem to find out whether I can add my own private domain, i.e. not a business user, but I own a personalised domain, with Office 365 Home Premium.

In other words, I would like to use ******@mydomain.com instead of ******@outlook.com.

I know you can do this with Office 365 for Business, but need to know whether this can be done with Home Premium.

Thanks

Chris

    Be patient!

I've just found the feature is currently in limited preview to a subset of subscribers.

Details you may find at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-a-personalized-email-address-in-office-365-75416a58-b225-4c02-8c07-8979403b427b?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

It seems that this is why you haven't still get access to the feature.

It seems that MS has heard our voices. :).

Today I found notification about new featured premium dashboard at my Outlook Web client. I've checked details and realize that MS has restored option to manage your personalized email address with your custom domain.

You don't have to buy a new one or transfer existing one. At least the domain have to be parked at GoDaddy name servers.

Finally I'm happily waiting for updating NS records of my domain for applying this cool feature yet :).

    Enjoy! :)

I do not think that there is a huge number of Home users that ask for family domains, so I do not think there is huge loss there. It is a minority.

I have found alternative solutions to both online storage, email, calendar and address book. What is stopping others from doing that?

I do know of a few at least.

I have alternative solutions as well and of course I am using them. That's not the point.

The point is that I am fed up of not being able to enjoy the same level of synergies that I came to enjoy with my work corporate office / mail solution (o365 corporate), e.g. the easy working together with OneDrive / mail / ...

I mean, we're in 2018 and have to argue why these things make sense?

Also I would greatly preffer to only have one contract instead of 2-3.
