I need to change the product key on a new installation of Office 2013 Home and Business. What is the procedure?

    Hi

    If you choose the "online repair" option ..

    It will go away and download some files ,

    Then when you open office, you will be invited to sign in, OR ENTER A PRODUCT KEY INSTEAD ..

    Here you can enter your new product key

    Happy days all round

    its easy

    if you try this

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-

    XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

    and reasult is

    Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8

    Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. Tous droits réservés.

    ---Processing--------------------------

    ERROR CODE: 0xC004F069

    ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product SKU

    is not found.

    first

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus

    second

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:XXXXX (last 5 char from "first")

    third

    run any app from Office2013 

    and NOT login with you MS account 

    just click "enter you key"

    now you see  dialog

    1. Enter your key
    2. Activate
    3. End

    ONLY after all steps you may login your MS account in Office apps

    PS: sorry for my english ;)

    PPS: on x64 system AND x64 Office edition remove "(x86)" from path ;)
