I need to change the product key on a new installation of Office 2013 Home and Business. What is the procedure?

    Is it possible to delete a registered Office 2013 License from a Microsoft account?

    I need to transfer the License from a MS account  to a new one. I cannot find an option.

    Can someone help?

    Problem: Change Product Key Office 2013 Home and Business

    SOLUTION:

    Works when activation fails because of key reuse.  Tried with Office 2013 on windows 8.1 but will work for other versions.

       1. Uninstall office 2013

       2. Reboot

       3.  reinstall using new key attt www.office.com/setup

    • Click on the button to open the Start Menu. Now, click on the Control Paneland then click on Programs (Uninstall a program), and finally click on Program and Features.

    (Windows XP users: Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.)

    • From the list of installed programs, find Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (or your installed version of Office 2010 or Office 2013) or Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2010 (or your installed version of Visio 2010), which ever’s key you want to change, select it and then click on Change.
    • From the newly opened dialog box, select the Enter a Product Key option, and then click Continue.
    • Type your new product key and check the option that says Attempt to automatically activate my product online to automatically activate your Office 2013 or Office 2010 suite. Now click on Continue and then on Install Now.

    The versions of Office 2013 I have used at work and at home didn't provide the option to Enter a Product Key after clicking on Change.  The versions I have at work didn't even provide a Change button (installed on Win 7 Pro).  They simply had the option to remove.  I'd attach a picture, but the only available options are Quick Repair and Online Repair for my 2013 Professional after clicking on Change (installed on Win 8 Pro).  The commands I listed above worked for me, though. 

    I have the same problem. I'm on windows 8.1 pro 64bit and office 2013 pro 32bit. When i use the command line should i type all the numbers of product key wothout spaces and "-"?
