I’m having problems installing Office, how do I fix this?

Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

Me TOOOO~!! OMG. this is the most by far frusterating thing of my life. i have no cluez where this dumb by strangest idiotic program came from of called '365' my a**.. lyke over matter of shut off, and turn on ordeal.. overnight type thing. and waaaaaah do you know.. my entire MICROSOFT 2013 i purchase n pay my monies for. is like poof missing from entire system. TELL MEEEEEEEEEEEEE where it go. i have things to do IMPORTANCE MAJOR. im doing. its not funny by far. you just go on peoples pcs and delete there microsoft with SOME MY GOSH NEW UPDATE. get off my p.c. stop interviening privacy. and updating without my say. i never tell you delete my purchase. i need it back NOW. not no dumb internet base program. its dumb and stupid. sorry but, like rediculas. i want refunded pricio now. or program back. i never wrote down dumb code kuz i never tiink sumthing as dumb would happen.. but apparently im not only one.. plz speak n give monies back. or fix now.

I've got the same problem. I WAS able to install Office 2013 to one computer and when I try it on a second, the installer just says "Something went wrong...". Is it possible that you can only install it on one computer?

Installing Office 2013 Home & Business on brand new Dell Optiplex, Windows 7 64-bit.

Initially received "We're sorry, something went wrong and we can't do this for you right now. Please try again later. (0x80070005)." (I agree with the Sorry part.)

Tried running the setup program (Setup.x86.en-US_HomeBusinessRetail_gtjhh-pnby8-c86pp-4xwfk-frdtp_TX_PR_.exe) again, got the orange Office installing box, it got quickly to 11% and then stopped doing anything... After about 40 minutes, I aborted it (killed the process). Tried a web-suggestion of running the Online Repair, which appeared to do nothing.

Office icons are installed on Start Menu / Microsoft Office. If I try running Word, it gives "...unable to start correctly (0x00000005). Tried Uninstalling, it failed with a friendly, but uninformative, "Can't uninstall."

I'll refrain from cusswords, despite the two hours spent. Kindly help here. Thank you.
