Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

There’s also an article that provides general troubleshooting steps for Office setup: General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365 .

You can also go to this page on Microsoft Support to find more Office 2013 install articles. Or, this page for Office 365 Home Premium articles.

If you’d rather contact support, look at this page for Office 2013 support options, and this page for Office 365 Home Premium support options.

I am trying to install Home & Student 2013.  I click the "install" tab, but I can't tell if it is installing.

I am now further into the problem... it seems there is not just one problem but a whole heap of them.  After failing miserably to be able to download the programme as it told me I needed Windows 7 or above... it failed to recognise I have Windows 8. In the UK we learn that 8 comes later than 7, but maybe on Planet Microsoft it doesn't.

I too was told by the shop I paid £110 for the pleasure of this piece of rubbish, that they could try to fix it ... at a cost, and no guarantee of success or I could go to Microsoft for a refund!

I then followed several forum links and somebody suggested downloading an installation disc and all seemed to be going to plan... until I finally got to the bit where I tried to install this onto my computer to be told that I was not connected to a network (I was!) and that if I wanted further assistance to click the link below... to an internet site.  Come on guys, if I am linked to the net, then you should have allowed me to download, if I am not then why are you suggesting sending me to a website for assistance.. this really doesn't make sense.

Get it sorted... or I shall be joining in the class action against you, this is costing me a fortune!

I took the product back to the store where I bought it, only to be told that I must get a refund directly from Microsoft.  (It's in the fine print, don't you know).  I called Microsoft, whose representative kept me on the phone for half an hour before telling me that they couldn't give me a refund but could fix my PC for the discountedprice of $150.  When I complained, the representative lowered the price to $70 but only if she could convince her manager to approve it.

You win, Microsoft.  You keep the $110 I wasted on this program, and I'll keep the hundreds of dollars I would have spent on Office 365.  We both agree to ignore the hundreds of dollars in business I lost by trying to get this rectified.

Anyone want to join me in a class action against these Microsoft bozo's.  I think I've spent hundreds if not thousands of hours over the years trying to work around MS problems and this Win8 Office365 bitter suite is the worse one yet.
