Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

There’s also an article that provides general troubleshooting steps for Office setup: General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365 .

You can also go to this page on Microsoft Support to find more Office 2013 install articles. Or, this page for Office 365 Home Premium articles.

If you’d rather contact support, look at this page for Office 2013 support options, and this page for Office 365 Home Premium support options.

    Hello Everyone,

I have locked this thread so we can easily manage users who have similar issues.

For new users who are encountering the same issue I would suggest starting a new thread of your own. Do ensure that you provide the complete error message that you get as well as any steps that you have already tried.

    Thanks

I got my disc burnt but now cannot get it to accept the disc .... help please, I am desperate.

    Hi Deborah,

What do you mean by "accept the disc"? Can you put it in your CD/DVD tray and view the contents? If so, double-click on the setup.exe program and it should start the installer. If you can not view the contents of the disc, it could be that it was not burned successfully.

Another option if you still have the downloaded "HomeBusinessRetail.img" file,is extracting the contents of the file to a folder using a program like WinRar or 7zip. Once extracted, you can open the new folder and double-click on the setup.exe program to install.

If none of these options work, it could be the file you downloaded was corrupt. The file size should be just over 2 GB (righ-click and select properties to view file info).

    Good luck!

[edit] I read some of your other responses and it seems you can run the installer, but are unable to complete it due to web connection issues? I know the Microsoft server has been flaky for me and could be part of your issues. You might want to got through all the uninstall/clean up steps listed in this thread, and then attempt the disc installation again. When I did it, my account already had the Office key "on file" so I just had to log in for the installation to continue. Good luck!
