Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

There’s also an article that provides general troubleshooting steps for Office setup: General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365 .

You can also go to this page on Microsoft Support to find more Office 2013 install articles. Or, this page for Office 365 Home Premium articles.

If you’d rather contact support, look at this page for Office 2013 support options, and this page for Office 365 Home Premium support options.

Now that mine is finally working I found the following when I clicked on an "information" icon in the "licensing and renewal" line in the "Service Health and Maintenance" section of my dashboard:

"June 4 - O365 Office 365 is currently experiencing an outage/degradation of service.  Customers attempting to activate new copies of O365 Office ProPlus will fail to retrieve the product key from Office licensing service.  The product key is required to permanently activate Office ProPlus.  Most customers will use grace period functionality in the Office client and will have full functionality for a period of time, until the product key is successfully retrieved.  Some customers, who may have exhausted grace periods, will not be able to use full Office functionality and will experience Reduced Functionality Mode."

     A later post reads:

"Closure Summary: On Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at approximately 5:47 PM UTC, an issue in one of Microsoft's datacenters caused an outage/degradation of the O365 Office Subscription service. Customers attempting to activate new copies of O365 Office ProPlus experienced failures while attempting to retrieve the product key from Office Licensing Service.  Microsoft engineers successfully deployed a fix across the affected datacenters which resolved this incident. The issue was successfully fixed on Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at 9:00 PM UTC. A complete post-incident report will be available on the Service Health Dashboard within five business days. "

No post-incident report has been posted as of yet.

I don't know if this affected Office 2013, but it certainly explains a lot as far as problems with Office 365 go.

If you're having continuing problems, call Microsoft - 877-913-2707
