Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

There’s also an article that provides general troubleshooting steps for Office setup: General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365 .

You can also go to this page on Microsoft Support to find more Office 2013 install articles. Or, this page for Office 365 Home Premium articles.

If you’d rather contact support, look at this page for Office 2013 support options, and this page for Office 365 Home Premium support options.

365 login is not the same as a Live login.  This created a little havoc for me.  If you've only been on a 365 account (i.e. hosted exchange server) then try setting up a "new" account with the live login and use the same info and password.  at least that's what tech support had me do.  now to see if i have two identities or one....

    Still no response from Microsoft?

How can we resolve the "something went wrong" (very helpful developers) issue?

I am also having major difficulties installing Office 365 on Windows 8. I am not a newb, I have never been so frustrated with software before. I have tried all the online 'fixes' and edited my registry, and it still won't work. Please make a better downloadable file available!!! I paid for this, this is completely inexcusable.

Installing Office 2013 Home & Business on brand new Dell Optiplex, Windows 7 64-bit.

Initially received "We're sorry, something went wrong and we can't do this for you right now.  Please try again later.  (0x80070005)."  (I agree with the Sorry part.)

Tried running the setup program (Setup.x86.en-US_HomeBusinessRetail_gtjhh-pnby8-c86pp-4xwfk-frdtp_TX_PR_.exe) again, got the orange Office installing box, it got quickly to 11% and then stopped doing anything...  After about 40 minutes, I aborted it (killed the process).  Tried a web-suggestion of running the Online Repair, which appeared to do nothing.

Office icons are installed on Start Menu / Microsoft Office.  If I try running Word, it gives "...unable to start correctly (0x00000005).  Tried Uninstalling, it failed with a friendly, but uninformative, "Can't uninstall."

I'll refrain from cusswords, despite the two hours spent.  Kindly help here.  Thank you.
