Clip Art is not available in my newly purchased Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013

Yes, I noticed that many images where watermarked with logos and therefore not useable by any means.  Now, those images might have copyrights where if you paid a fee, you could use the image without the watermark - I'm not sure as I didn't investigate that intensely.  I, also noticed that searches may not even yield results that matched the search criteria exactly either; whereas in clipart you could type 4 different criteria in and get a few options to chose from. 

As, I said to Brianbell7,  figuring out the license part isn't easy or quick to do from what I've read.  I did try to figure out how to choose which license level (as they called it) I wanted.  And then, do you need to do this for each search??? 

All in all, I think this was a dumb move on MS part.

Thanks Brianbell7,  the problem with that is how many places still use that version of office.  I thought I read somewhere that some version of Office 2010 might have it, but I'm not sure.

I have not read any specifics about why they're getting rid of it.  I would think a site that went from 6,000 cliparts to over 100,000 would show how popular it is.  It was nice being able to go to a FREE site and have a decent amount of pictures to choose from and then be able to change the graphic  (as in ungroup it) and change colors, etc.   

I haven't been thrilled with MS since they came out with Windows 8.  I will be buying a MAC next year, but will still need the Office software for work, etc.

And now I won't be able to create memory books as nicely now.  I used several cliparts when my son (who is adopted) was brought out to my x and I when he was 3 days old.  

From what I've gathered,  figuring out the licensure agreement for the pictures (whether free or not) is not an easy process.  You have to go to Images then click licensure and then click this, that and the other.   I, personally, don't like the Bing search engine either.

ClipArt is supposedly available through Bing.com, but you have to type the word clipart at the end of your search.  Unfortunately, in playing around with some clipart downloaded from Bing,  certain features aren't available and if you try to enlarge an image at some point it becomes grainy and useless.

"Supposedly" being the key word.

Typing clipart into the search shows you more clipart-like images, but they are images from across the net (not simply MS images) so many of the results are thumbnails/super tiny images that can't be enlarged without becoming grainy whilst others are watermarked with other companies' logos.

Use office 2007. The clip art is not as good though.

What gives them the right to take features away from a product people have bought?

I think people should push for this feature to come back.

This is how they start the new year alongside their new OS windows 10?

I, too had the ClipArt option available one day and not the next.  The Office.com clipart feature has also seemed to disappear from the computers available to the students at the college I attend.  Microsoft Tech Support was anything but helpful when I called and requested information.  We have courses that use the ClipArt feature.  From what I have researched and gathered is that this feature has been killed - end of story.  ClipArt is supposedly available through Bing.com, but you have to type the word clipart at the end of your search.  Unfortunately, in playing around with some clipart downloaded from Bing,  certain features aren't available and if you try to enlarge an image at some point it becomes grainy and useless.  Now, it seems Microsoft hasn't bothered to inform schools/universities/colleges that teach courses in Microsoft of these changes as I'm still told to use the campus computers to download clipart that is required for assignments.

I'm afraid I don't have any possible explanation for your second question as I've not ever received that message.
