Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Something that's been missing from this conversation is the fact that before Microsoft decided to discontinue hosting media on Office.com, we users could search their vast library for photos, drawings, video, and audio for media that requires no attribution. In other words, as far we were concerned these media were all copyright free.
Now that MS has switched to Bing image search, they are relying on the public to correctly attribute the images according to whatever Creative Commons license has been used. I design presentations for a living, so I make very sure that any images I include on my clients' slides are either purchased from royalty-free image brokers, attributed per the Creative Commons license, or copyright free.
Tracking down this copyright information takes time. It also requires a commitment to the rights of photographers to be compensated or acknowledged for their work. How many people are going to bother doing this? It's hard to argue that images on the Internet aren't always free or free to use when Microsoft is making it so easy for people to use them in their presentations.
