Hi,
I have the exact same problem as Malek. I accidentally registered Office 2013 with Polish instead of Norwegian (I don't know how that happened, maybe I scrolled by mistake or something). I realized my mistake one second after I clicked next, but didn't
worry too much about it, thinking that changing the language later on wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong!
At the installation page I realize that the selected language is Polish and that I cannot change it. I don't understand a word of Polish and I can't seem to find a way to change the registered language to the language I wanted. Now I'm stuck with a Polish
version of Office 2013 that has little to zero value to me.
I also tried to download Office 2013, hoping I could easily change the language, but no, it was Polish all the way.
And as Malek stated, we're not looking for a language pack, but to change the language that Office 2013 is registered with under office.com/myaccount (which also is the installation language).
The name of the setup file I get when I click download Office 2013 under MyAccount is:
Setup.X86.pl-PL_HomeStudentRetailxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.exe
The third part of the filename (pl-PL) refers to the language (Polish) and the country (Poland) that the product is registred as and what the setup/downloader will install. I want this to say nb-NO for Norwegian and Norway, e.g.
Setup.X86.nb-NO_HomeStudentRetail_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_.exe
Any suggestions on how to change the registered language or do I actually have to call Microsoft to get this fixed? :/
