Proofing tools for Office 2010

I'm trying to find proofing tools for Office 2010 on MS site, but something is completely wrong. All the links now bring me to the Office 2013 options. Even the link "Download a Language Pack for Office 2010" on http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/language-packs/office-2013-language-options-FX102851176.aspx brings me to Office Language Pack 2013 page.

Actually I don't need the full language pack, I just need the spellchecker working for some languages (russian, estonian, some more). As I see it is possible to freely download such proofing tools for Office 2013, but they don't work with Office 2010.

What I show do and where I can them?

Thanks in advance,

Vadim

But Language-Packs changes the Office GUI language and are not for free. I dont want to change the languege of my Office. I just need an additional language for the proofing(text correction).

Installing an additional proofing language is included. But it does not work anymore as it used to.

Is there a workaround for the dead link?

    Try the following link

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Language-Pack-for-Office-2010/productID.253665800

If you are not in the USA, click on the map of the World at the bottom left of the screen and then select your country of residence.

Did you find a solution to add languages to the proofing tools for office 2010?

I still end up in the browser saying. "Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found."

You do NOT have to buy language packs for the languages that came with the program. If you have an English version of Office, you will have proofing tools for English, Spanish, and French (all flavors of each). It is only if you want proofing tools in another language that you have to buy a language pack. If your built-in proofing tools are not working in Office 2010, try repairing the installation.

Yes, they do keep moving these pages around. I googled for "Office 2010 language pack" and eventually got to this page, which has a link that actually works; it leads to http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/productID.253665800?cdid=[lc], which (at least for now) appears to work.

Sad you have to BUY something that came with the program to begin with.  Mine had worked perfectly for years.  It's as if the whole Office 2010 program is disintegrating  one thing after the next.  Now Word documents I open on a regular basis won't open, even some created in 2010.  The clock won't stay synced either.  I give up.  Time for a new computer.

    Thanks for your help Suzanne!
