how do I cancel my office subscription?

I need to cancel my subscription to Office in order to get my Microsoft account erased

How do I do that?.. Thank you

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community and thanks for providing us an opportunity to assist you.

Cancelling the Office 365 subscription will not erase or close the Microsoft Account.

However to cancel the subscription you may sign into the My Account page on Office.com with the Microsoft account you used to register or purchase.

    In theory you should be able to go into MyAccount to cancel one of the subscriptions. If that does not work, contact your credit card company and ask them to cancel ONE of the subscriptions.

    How do I cancel my Office 365 auto-renew subscription?

    ·      If you purchased an auto-renew subscription from Microsoft via MicrosoftStore.com or Office365.com, you have two options for cancelling:

    o  You can cancel online by visiting www.office.com/myaccount and turning off the auto-renew option in the payment and billing area. With this approach, your subscription will automatically expire when your remaining subscription time is up.

    O  To cancel immediately, contact Microsoft support and request an immediate cancellation.

    ·      If you purchased an auto-renew subscription from Apple via the iTunes Store, you will need to cancel your subscription with Apple. Learn more.

    ·      If you purchased an auto-renew subscription from another retailer, you may have to cancel your subscription with that retailer. You can confirm this by visiting www.office.com/myaccount and looking in the payment and billing area. If you see “Purchased from [Retailer Name]”, you will need to cancel your subscription with that retailer.

    I have been charged for 2 accounts with Microsoft 365.  I only need one. It is aggravating to get in touch with anyone to cancel one.  I want the one that is 15.00 cancelled.
