What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

Calm down dude. People are upset that MS is forcing all of us into the cloud. Sure you can download something now that is unrelated and not included in Office 2013 but come on, how many end users do you really think understand  a lot beyond insert disc and select install? 

If you are a community star, stick to calmly pointing out although MS has opted to drop the application as an included part of the Office package, you can still access the install files and ,SO FAR, it still works with Windows.

Thanks for your help providing a way for people to install a great tool that has been dropped from Office 2013, most likely the last version of Office you will ever be able to buy a disc for.

Be prepared to see more posts from people who don't see your links right away but still post that they are upset, disappointed, and let down that MS is leading us this way.

I spend lot's of time showing people how to use Windows 8 and enjoy the changes rather than fight them.

I couldn't agree more.  I tried to respond on my phone yesterday when I saw Rohn007 come down hard on tunes3000.  It's best my response didn't go through.  It isn't as simple as he makes it sound. 

This is a common problem with technical people, often they have technical skills but no people skills. He responded to me in almost the same way.   

I don't have a previous disc because I had a corporate volume version of Office from my previous business and IT guy.  I looked at the options and directions that were being outlined and then decided to just bag it and go to a 3rd party application.

The point that tunes3000 was making is that it's too bad MS doesn't think things through like most of their users do. When they do a beta test, they need to bring in real users, not IT geeks that know how to manipulate everything technical.

Sorry you guys are upset at my reply.  It is easy to appear to over-react in this text only format of communication (as you have perceived I have).

From my point of view it is a little frustrating when people do not read the whole discussion, just "me too" on the end of it. If you do look through it you'll see the same solution to the lack posted more than once.

We can hope, but not expect, that with enough people making the same point MS will make it easier to get a copy of Picture Manager. I cannot envision them including it back in the Office 2013 installer, but it would be easy enough for them to create an installer with just Picture Manager and to create a KB article that would be easier for people to find.
