Ok point taken.
It's late enough in the year that Microsoft is probably about to release the next version anyway... so for the few still fighting this hopefully they will learn to read the posts. (Try researching a CNC issue in a machining forum... sometimes you go back
2 or 3 YEARS.)
Anyway... yeah, real idiotic move on Microsoft's part to tout Picture Manager as the end-all do-all graphics conversion package, get it to the top of virtually EVERY search engine... then just go, "Eh" and not include it just because the "look" of the program
doesn't match the current "feel".
Frankly... I don't care what it looks like if it works. And additionally... they could have assigned it to a team and had it re-skinned in a couple of days honestly.
Then... the first couple of posts when this whole thread started... "Use Microsoft Word"... I was like... are they on drugs? Totally missed the point of a batch process. It's like the departments just completely do not communicate.
I hear tell they are gearing up to do major revisions to VBA... they have already botched up the Dialogue box... you have to do some hokey work-around using the IE interface... if they botch it to where the VBA routines fail... there are going to be a HUGE
number of companies either refusing to upgrade, or flat dropping the package. (I had to rework about 40 spreadsheets and redo the interfaces... I can't imagine some larger companies.)
I hope they actually start to take notice to forums like this... seriously.
