What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

The Office Picture Manager has been a very quick and easy tool to use, built into Office and readily available no matter what machine I have to use.  I would rather not have to install 3rd party software to do what MS has made easy to do in the past.

Any word on what this app is called now and where it's hidden in the Office 2013 install?

The best workaround I've found is to use the free SharePoint Designer 2010 to bootstrap the MS Office Picture Manager.

You can get the SharePoint Installer from this post:

The short version is to run the installer.  

Then choose "Customize" instead of "Install Now".  

Then deselect everything that's not "Office Tools" > "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"

Hey John,

You are correct that Office Picture Manager was removed from the suite. Inside programs such as PowerPoint and Word there are still editing tools. You also have Windows Live Photo Gallery which I feel is a much more program specific picture editing tool. Hopefully the small change does not effect your trial of the Next Microsoft Office.

    Yes well, this assumes that one has a disk and is willing to break to law and use it on a second PC.

    This is not breaking any law as you have already paid for it if you have the original disc!  Just because they do not support the older versions does not mean that once you have paid for it that it is ILLEGAL to run it!  YOU HAVE PAID FOR IT ALREADY!  just like the paying yearly for 365!  This is ****... if you have paid the original then the yearly updates should be provided for less than 1/2 price as you are not purchasing anything new, just their fixing patches for what the screwed up in the original release!

    If you read the post instead of just assuming things...

    The Picture manager is ALSO AVAILABLE in SHARE POINT DESIGNER that is FREE... you just have to UNSELECT the other components and install only Picture Manager... not that hard... there are even pictures...

    Well, I'm no lawyer, but my understanding of the license is that it allows you to install Office or any of the different elements on one, and only one PC, unless you specifically have a multi license disk.

    But the point is moot - Office came ready installed and I have no disks anyway.
