What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

I was also very disappointed to realize that the picture editor was gone. I used it mostly for web design, to resize and crop images. I am now using MS Paint.

Just reinstall it... Paint won't do the batch edits that Picture Manager will do.

What can we say.

I my opinion for many years Microsoft have selfishly dominated & dictated the direction of personal computing contrary to the needs on the many. They have milked their dominance at the expense of progress. They've stifled & placed their rivals in a strangle hold at every opportunity & this is just yet another example of their dictatorship approach to 'progress' & directing the industry in the way that suits them.

However, things are changing. Microsoft no longer have the dominance they once had. But all this has achieved is to push the industry back many years. I have no choice but to use Microsoft based products which is completely the wrong outcome for Microsoft. They should want me (& many) to use their products by choice & not by default.

Rather than embracing their users & encouraging upgrades, they've bullied them & forced change upon them.

Win7 saw virtualisation yet the win8 upgrade saw is taken away way with no means of retrofit leaving SOHO users high & dry.

Again Office 2013 had Picture Manager consciously removed my Microsoft for no beneficial reason to the end user.

Microsoft have charged high premiums for the OS's yet win8 started out free. Why is that I wonder?

I have used ms picture manager to put many pictures in word at one time. Not putting one and one picture in a ms word document. 

I also use PM to change name on many pictures at one time.

I also use PM to resize many pictures and store them in a new folder. 

I use it to send emails with 50 to 100 picture preview inside named before in PM. It was a fantastic multitool easy to use.

It was one of my most used tools in my job as a engineer in project administration. 

All that functionality do I not find in other programs. I use Photoshop, light room, corel paint shop pro,  picasa and so on.

It was one functionality i didn't find there, it could not send many pictures to word and also include picture text with number under as in outlook when used to send pictures as previews in emails.

Why do You remove it?

There is no good reason to take it out of your office pack. It looks for me like same stupid ide as products like windows millennium, and windows vista.  **** without functionality and stability.
