Can anyone advise what easy picture editor to use with office 365 if possible that won't involve uninstalling the office? I am very wary about this after what happened last week when my new surface pro 3 went into meltdown....
Utterly fed up to find no picture manager when I recently bought a surface pro 3 and 365 personal, I looked at another thread and downloaded live photo gallery (which I still didn't like anything like as much as manager as I mainly just want to compress,
crop and straighten quickly).
three days later the computer suddenly went into meltdown. As well as refusing to turn off, and then on, when I finally got it going, using a two button reset, many functions didn't work at all and eveything took ages. worst of all, it became untouchably
hot within minutes of turning on, the fan was whirring like an aircraft about to take off and the batttery draining within half an hour. I talked at length to the MS helopdesk who suggested I get the whole computer replaced. My heart sank as I'd spent hours
and hours loading stuff, beginnning to learn how it works etc etc.
As I last ditch I restored it to before installing the live gallery. It worked in that the whirring, overheating etc stopped. Word and Outlook weren't working, I was invited to delete the shortcut which wiped off the whole programmes but an advanced repair
reinstalled them without losing data and my settings.
The whole episode took hours and hours and alot of worry. I work for myself and on the move a lot so I need a reliable, high spec and light machine. I really thought the pro 3 would fit the bill.
I am terrified of going through the process described above again but I really need something to quick edit picturesespecially to compress.
