What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

The Office Picture Manager has been a very quick and easy tool to use, built into Office and readily available no matter what machine I have to use.  I would rather not have to install 3rd party software to do what MS has made easy to do in the past.

Any word on what this app is called now and where it's hidden in the Office 2013 install?

The best workaround I've found is to use the free SharePoint Designer 2010 to bootstrap the MS Office Picture Manager.

You can get the SharePoint Installer from this post:

The short version is to run the installer.  

Then choose "Customize" instead of "Install Now".  

Then deselect everything that's not "Office Tools" > "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"

Hey John,

You are correct that Office Picture Manager was removed from the suite. Inside programs such as PowerPoint and Word there are still editing tools. You also have Windows Live Photo Gallery which I feel is a much more program specific picture editing tool. Hopefully the small change does not effect your trial of the Next Microsoft Office.

    Hey MS you are meant to have changed by listening to your users right!?

    61 pages of posts is a pretty clear message. Bring back picture manager it had functions and ease of use the replacements do not have.

    I remember the uproar years ago when Microsoft made the brilliant decision to pull Microsoft Paint out of Windows. They eventually released it as a stand-alone program for download, and then added it back in. I still use it today for some quick editing of line drawings (which is what I deal with mostly).  I turn to it almost DAILY to do some stupid little thing to artwork that Corel's all-powerful Painshop Pro won't do for me. 

    Microsoft needs to put OPM back in and stop messin' with things. I'm sure there are a lot more people out there fuming over this. They just haven't found their way here to complain. maybe it would be a good idea to question people in the working world before yanking things.

    The HUGE problem for me is the editing options in Live Photo Gallery are useless.  I need to adjust MIDTONES myself, and CANNOT do this.  Hate this aspect of this update.
