First it was photo editor, now picture manager!!!!!!! Typical MS - don't worry about folk who want to use a COMPUTER as a COMPUTER. Now its all about "Multi media". Photo gallery is fine if all you want to do is organize your photos but if you want to
edit and manipulate them (cropping, resizing etc.) IT IS RUBBISH.
Microsoft have a remarkable knack of taking the programs you REALLY want and use and replace them with second rate rubbish.
Mind you, in my opinion Windows 8 is basically rubbish. Not even a start menu, just some sort of annoying multimedia page full of media and stock reports that I am not in the slightest interested in but no "search function", no links directly to my programs,
no direct access to control panel. Now I have to manually and tediously search via "desktop assist" and then pin EVERYTHING to the task bar. To me the start page is not just useless but annoying and lacking in functionality for someone who is using the machine
for WORK. Its all about play.
Ultimately I will have to look for an alternative OS.
Well done MS. Every day in every way you work hard - and succeed - in confirming my opinion first formed in the mid 1980's that you are a cancer on the computing industry. Putting your interests above those of the people who pay you and use your increasingly
rubbish systems
