What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

The Office Picture Manager has been a very quick and easy tool to use, built into Office and readily available no matter what machine I have to use.  I would rather not have to install 3rd party software to do what MS has made easy to do in the past.

Any word on what this app is called now and where it's hidden in the Office 2013 install?

The best workaround I've found is to use the free SharePoint Designer 2010 to bootstrap the MS Office Picture Manager.

You can get the SharePoint Installer from this post:

Then, for more detailed instructions, you can follow the Guide Here:

The short version is to run the installer.  

Then choose "Customize" instead of "Install Now".  

Then deselect everything that's not "Office Tools" > "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"

Hey John,

You are correct that Office Picture Manager was removed from the suite. Inside programs such as PowerPoint and Word there are still editing tools. You also have Windows Live Photo Gallery which I feel is a much more program specific picture editing tool. Hopefully the small change does not effect your trial of the Next Microsoft Office.

    I'm very upset that you have removed this!  I have used this for years as a Real Estate Broker!  Do you have any idea how many hundreds of photos I have to work with and Picture Manager was the smoothest program to jump-in and edit so fast!  Now what?  I haven't read through all the answers yet, but what I have read so far was vague and did not give any real instruction on HOW or WHERE to access editing for  'PICTURE MANAGER' type features....

    VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    Just as everyone here in the post, I am disappointed in the lack of Office Picture Manager.  I've got hundreds of photographs that I need to put into a photo frame.  I helps if I can resize all of the photos in one folder at the same time.  I am about to install the Photo Gallery as mentioned in one of the replies.  I think I have learned that the feature that I am looking for won't be found.

    Of course - so obvious - well done!!!

    Here is how those of us who have the disc install version still have accessed the Picture Manager program,   and once again, Thank you for helping solve this issue despite Microsofts' total lack of caring for our programming needs.
