What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

The Office Picture Manager has been a very quick and easy tool to use, built into Office and readily available no matter what machine I have to use.  I would rather not have to install 3rd party software to do what MS has made easy to do in the past.

Any word on what this app is called now and where it's hidden in the Office 2013 install?

The best workaround I've found is to use the free SharePoint Designer 2010 to bootstrap the MS Office Picture Manager.

You can get the SharePoint Installer from this post:

The short version is to run the installer.  

Then choose "Customize" instead of "Install Now".  

Then deselect everything that's not "Office Tools" > "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"

Hey John,

You are correct that Office Picture Manager was removed from the suite. Inside programs such as PowerPoint and Word there are still editing tools. You also have Windows Live Photo Gallery which I feel is a much more program specific picture editing tool. Hopefully the small change does not effect your trial of the Next Microsoft Office.

    I wish I could do this, but don't seem to be able to.  I do want MS to know how much I want Picture Manager back, though...

    I am also very sad when I realised there is no Picture Manager. It was really quick tool for resize picture for icon on many forums and also a quick tool to make many pictures smaller for sending via e-mail for example.

    I have now turned on Live version and there is also resize option, but I did not find the "make smaller (how to say it... I meam from 2.3MB 500kB for example) option" :(

    you can also see that there is an icon that says "e-mail" right side of the tool bar. you can sellect more pictures and send them in one e-mail. when you click the "e-mail" icon it will ask you to resize it.

    I installed Live Photo Gallery and I'm assuming it will do what I want but what I don't like is that I lost a couple of other programs that I use like Windows Movie Maker.  I don't do a lot of photo editing, mostly cropping and resizing so I don't need major but I do need useful and easy.
