I too am lamenting the loss of Picture Manager. I am working on an office computer so use of any kind of cloud is forbidden. We have a central server where all the photos are kept so that is my only option. I have the Creative
Suite and Windows 7 and was told to use Light Room as the alternative. But I don't want to use such a complex program for the simple organizing I need to do and that Picture Manager was perfect for. Besides the lost time I will incur learning to use this program
is dealing with the frustration of using a sledgehammer to do the job of a tack hammer. We are not allowed to download any software to office computers so I am stuck. Thanks Microsoft.
Oh how I feel fior you. MS has hurt their brand so very much.... after hours and hours
**I was finally able to get MS picture Manager .... and I use it all the time with no problem. MS does not want us to continue using it !!!!**but .. finding a way to install it online - which saved my life so-to-speak .... I just dont remember how I did it ... /but I promise you .... if you reply back to this response or email me,
I will find it for you and provide instructions... ...
I am disabled so it takes me longer than some..if you keep in touch, I will send you directions. I have heard to stay away from Windows 10 ... I dont believe windows 10 has it and I hear that windows 10 (which is offered
fre...lol) is worse than windows 8 or 8.1 - The only products I'll purchase in the future are Mac products ... and I dint know how to use a Mac.. but when this laptop goes ... I'll learn Mac.... unfortunately I will likley need MS applications to do my work ... MS got greedy and showed little to no concern or loyalty to their customer base and they have us with MS Word - Excell - Picture Manager ..... thoes are the only 3 products that
I would have a hard time living without. MS should be ashamed of themselves... I just had a friend give me his laptop with windows 8 ... so that I could plug it into my smart tv and watch movies .... but you even have to buy the software to be abke ti use
your disc drive.... sickening ....
