exporting contacts FROM Outlook 365

I've worked as a computer consultant for 20 years. I have to say that Office 365 is the LEAST user friendly product I've ever seen. Impossible to do do simply things that in other products are intuitive. Right now I'm trying to export my contact list. When I search on this topic all the examples say something like go to OUTLOOK -> FILE --> OPTIONS --> ADVANCED. After an hour of searching I dont find anything in outlook that says file . I find options but not Advanced and nothing else that leads to exporting

Hi Steve,

I will assist you with the query you have in exporting contacts from Outlook 365.

You may follow the steps below to Export the Outlook contacts:

Open Outlook, click File, Open and export and then click Export to a file.

Once you are in the import\Export window follow the on screen instructions to export the items from Outlook.

If you want to import the data into Outlook, then you may refer to the direction mentioned in the link below:

Note: Instead of Import, you need to look for the Export option in the above link.

The instruction provided are for the DESKTOP version of Outlook, not the web app (AKA: OWA / Outlook - Office 365). As far as I can tell, and I've looked carefully, there is NO WAY to export contacts from the web app!

Translating from dutch to english, not having the right words at the moment so I'm guessing the title's of the buttons

Outlook 2013 and Office365
- Open outlook (desktop version)
- Open file (trust me, there is something called file or you have to be working on a sqeeuzed policy locked-down machine.
- Go to advanced
- scroll down to Export (I guess it is export, in Dutch it's exporteren :))
- click export et voillà, there is you good-old-fashioned exporting tool

I don't know how to say bullshit in any language but English. So, here it is..b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t!

There is N-O "File" in Outlook Web/Office 365 Web!

OWA-Admin-Office 365-Users and Groups-Manage Mail Contacts-Mail Boxes-...-Export to CSV may be meaningful to wireheads but to this typical user (you know, the ones who actually pay the bills), the lack of a simple exporting method and the further lack of simple, factual answers from Microsoft is really frustrating. That is greatly cleaned up!

Let's cut the bullshit and get us an answer that is pertinent and helpful!
