There was a problem with a formula that seemed to be copied and pasted into at least three places but I snipped out the bad section(s) and was able to open the file.

The problem was in the formulas containing both 'L∙bar' and 'mol∙K'. There were at least three identical instances of this causing problems. You need to proof those formulas carefully.

This wasn't the easiest that I've run into. An 18.9Mb word/Document.xml file makes for slow going in a text editor. Typically, the bloated size was simply because the author didn't scale down numerous 8Mb - 2832 × 2132 pixel images.

With only one keystroke operation possible every 30-45 seconds (text editors are not built for >10Mb files), I simply snipped out the offending section rather than attempt to repair it. You can find the actual raw Xml below. This was removed from the area immediately preceding the phrase "boat on the rio coco" on page 10 of 39. The phrase itself appears to be within a malformed text box or some-such.

The repaired DOCX is loaded to my OneDrive here for you to download.
