When I print or export to a PDF, the embedded Excel documents in my Publisher 2013 document do not have crisp, clear text. However exactly the same document under Office 2010 they look and print fine. I have an example of a PDF created from the same Publisher document, one in 2010 (on the left), one in 2013 (on the right) which I have uploaded that clearly demonstrate the issue. Is this a known bug, or a font issue with Office 2013? I work at a University where we have an enterprise licence for Office 2013 so are only just considering to roll it out to staff currently, but if this is an issue we will have to wait for a fix.

Just to pile on a bit, the fuzzy pdf problem also occurs with clipart. I'm restoring my computer to prior to Office 2013 install so I can get back to Publisher 2010.

Absolutely. The biggest issue is that we don't even know if Microsoft are aware that Publisher 2013 is FUBAR. Without an obvious way to alert them to the fault it may go undiscovered by their team for a long time...
Microsoft is aware of the bug and even this thread.

Feel free to report the problem yourself. Perhaps with multiple people reporting this bug, MS will get it fixed sooner. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...

Perhaps you could still submit feedback for Office 2013 until there is a site.
In the meantime revert to Pub 2010 or older versions, use a different PDF tool, or perhaps convert the objects such as the Excel charts, etc to 300 dpi PNG files and then insert them into Publisher rather than importing the objects directly from Excel... If anyone else has other potential workarounds, please post.
FWIW it appears that this may not be the only problem with Publisher 2013. Some users have also reported that when they open publications made in previous versions that the text is rendered differently and requires the page layouts to be edited. This may be a Windows 8 problem. Also the CYMK color options have been stripped from Publisher 2013 "by design" which negatively affects producing publications for commercial printing. I expect more 'problems' will be discovered as more people start using Publisher 2013.
I am also not a big fan of the fact that you can only install Publisher 2013 or any of the retail versions of Office 2013 to just one computer.
I wish I could offer more promising news but maybe staying with Publisher 2010 or older versions of Office is the best option until or if MS fixes the bugs and problems with 2013. New does not necessarily mean better...

I have the same problem, it may be a small problem for other software, but it is redcaliest that "publisher" is a publishing software and most insert object are bulry on print/screen.
Is that mean we should move on and use other software rather than publisher?
