Office 2013 Professional offline help - how do I install it

Dumb.  If the issue is download size, then obviously the off-line help should be available as a separate download for those customers that need it.

As I've mentioned, and I'm sure others are in simular positions, we cannot connect to the internet for security reasons.   I could download the help file image, get it through security and move it to our workstations.

Or, as Microsoft seems to think is 'better', I can get up from my workstation, go to another part of the building and use a non-secure machine that has Internet access to lookup a help question, print the page, and then return to the original machine to do my work.

All because it would seem that Microsoft lacks the commitment to provide off-line help to its customers that need this.

Not to mention the bandwidth cost of having a few thousand employees accessing the internet to look up help and keep the product validated.

Microsoft, wakeup.  The internet /cloud is not the answer to everything.

I am not able to access the help at all, I checked the ? bit today and it says help is not available... 

Also I am not able to use office 2013 offline, for some reason, I personally think there should be a page dedicated to users who bought office 2013 thinking it would be like any other office package with new features being able to use it offline, if not then how to go about doing so.

I can't use office offline, not sure how to do it as my office always wants to stream with whatever I load, I personally would prefer to have bought a slightly older version without this complication if I knew that office 2013 would not have been as simple to use as office 2010 or 2007 in terms of using it offline.

I have checked pages of the internet, you can purchase a DVD i think

I think there should be an additional change to the subscription feature because this is unfair to those users of communities and countries where internet is not available and maybe a user who travels to such a place for philanthropic causes will need to downgrade.

Microsoft says that in actuality for all the programs of office 2013, if one does not use it on-line for (number of days) days in order to check subscriber number validity ... then it is sorry to say that you will have limited functionality of only viewing documents spreadsheets etc.

If you wish to have software that you can use offline at any time then you need to do such and such or try another version of Office or (maybe they can do an exchange like you remove new version and get a free old version)

your problem.... it needs internet access even though you downloaded and tried to install properly...

expecting to use when offline and yet still not able to use....

Then do the following...

then do this

maybe even get a software that can analyse the installation of the software and point you to the right direction e.g. ok go to this site and download or contact support on this Email or this link to this site.

Guys your thoughts? it is frustrating to be honest but I think this will help and the MCC and others do try and help.

The Office Help is now online.

Office 2013 installed by means of Click-to-Run will have no ability for Offline Help files, as these files have been removed to reduce the setup image for download and online installation.
