Change Background color Theme Office 2013

FIRST let me start by saying i also am disappointed by the limited color options, however that is no excuse for being lazy or simply giving up finding a solution just because you couldn't find an easy one click method online.

Here are some things you can attempt to "lessen" the harshness....

#1 - Nine times out of ten the biggest reason things appear to bright is because a user's monitor settings for brightness and contrast are out of whack OR because the monitor needs to be replaced but users would rather crank up the settings than have to spend money.

#2 - Adjust the Size of your working window. If there is no reason to have the Office application take up the whole screen and blast you with all that extra "white space" than adjust it. This is especially helpful in Word and Excel.

#3 - If you haven't already done so, change the Office Theme color to the darkest of the three choices available. File Options General Tab Office_Theme pull-down menu.

#4- Word ONLY. Change the Page color while your working on it to something less harsh. Design Tab Page Color Make a choice. Afterwards change the color back to "none".

#5- Excel ONLY. You will need to have access to a solid color JPEG file or pic in a color of your choice. Use Page Layout Tab Background Button in the ribbon and select the "solid color image" you made to replace the harsh white background.

Should one have to go through all this just to make Office more pleasant, Noooo! But again i am not saying i agree with the design of Office this time around, but TROLLS will be TROLLS.

And for some one that been a member for just over ONE HOUR you seem to know a **** of a lot about this thread and the problem.

It would take more than that time to read the whole thread SO do us all a big flavour don't bother patronising us serious uses with your useless dribble.

Obviously written by some one who dose not use OFFICE 2013 BEEN THER DONE THAT don't work in that it don't change the working window colour just the BORDER. BUT you'd know that if you used the package.
