I am trying to install MS Office 13 in my new HP computer(WIN8), I uninstalled office 365 but getting this error while trying to install 64-bit MS Office "Office 15 click-to-Run" Extensibility Component" I delete the KEYS in regedit as suggested by users in internet and partially remove the directory in Program Files, Still getting the same error. I have Window8. I am not able to delete folder completely "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15"
Help will be appreciated.

Sorry but cannot do what you suggest :( it says that "click-to-run....." cannot be found. And when I want to install
office 2013 64bits it says that I have to delete all office 32 bits programms installed on this pc... I understand english
but maybe I am not clever!! I am french
I had same problem in Windows7 32 bit ,but I sloved it by :- first uninstall any previous versions of office, then going to (Regedit) and find the file c2rint.msi at the following place :
\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\00005102C8.......\SourceList
Note that in the 64 version you will find the file in same place but with another code ,anyway check the file name in PackageName key
Aftyer mking sure its the file c2rint.msi , right-click on the Key and delete it with all subkeys
Simply awesome... it worked for me! I wonder why MS Uninstaller never works correctly showing all 'hives' for programs installed, specially those acquired thru Windows Updates. :-/
OK, I will say it: "Man that guy was awesome."
It worked just as you said.
I personally have a subscription to Office 365 but needed to install a version of MS Project 2013 Professional provided to me through Dreamspark for a college class I'm taking at night.
I also received the "Office 15 click-to-Run" Extensibility Component" error and could not find it to uninstall it! Your instructions worked perfectly. Thank you for taking the time to share them with us.
