I don't know how to cancel the free month trial before microsoft charge 9.99 a month to my card

Thank you for trying the Office 365 Trial.

In order to cancel your Trial, you need to go to http://office.com/myaccount

From here you can cancel the free month Trial.

Please remember that, after you cancel, your Office 365 client will become unusable.

The FAQ page says that you only click "Turn off auto-renew" which would imply that the client will not become unusable.

I would like to try for a month but not now. I can feel the greed already as it looks near impossible to complete the trial offer without being charged.

Ah, we'll make it harder then it should be(a simple click of the mouse) to cancel the trial so most will just say "bah, it's only $10 a month"...

FYI - when I canceled my free trial (I used Dec Raff's link above and logged into my MS account), it says that I can still use Office 365 until the trial period ends (so I'm not sure he is correct that it becomes immediately unusable).

when I clicked on this page,,,,,,,,http://office.com/my account to cancel my free months office 365 trial, when the click manage my account page ..opens, but no place to cancel...only saying way to choose payment...

is this trial a sham?......I do not want office 365,,,

I am operating windows 8.1
