You can change the theme in Office by clicking File > Account page in any Office product with the exception of Outlook. In Outlook, Click File > Office Account to change the theme.

There are three themes available in Office 2013:

White - Default

Light Gray

Dark Gray

    Lucky you! Since clearly Micro$oft and the engineers who design the Office interface (who never apparently associate with ordinary humans, or if they do, obviously ask all the wrong questions) mean to do NOTHING AT ALL about these issues.

    If only I could change back...

    I wish for the 97th time that I could forward this whole string to someone with a clue!

    The MS GUI designers are IDIOTs! (Oh, yes, the old ID-10T error, only this one is in the underlying code!)
