You can change the theme in Office by clicking File > Account page in any Office product with the exception of Outlook. In Outlook, Click File > Office Account to change the theme.

There are three themes available in Office 2013:

White - Default

Light Gray

Dark Gray

    Since Microsoft doesn't provide a solution...  Kudos to the genius who figured out how to change the HEX colors in the .dll files (see https://officethemehacker.wordpress.com/). 

    Huhmm... interesting. Wonder if it works...

    Perhaps, Microsoft would create the "Blue" theme they had in Office 2010 for us?  Something with color?  Anything but gray and white?  PRETTY PLEASE?!?!?  We're begging.

    It's been almost 3 years since these posts about the awful color scheme in office 365 and still horrible as ever.  Does Microsoft care about making things better or are you so big, you think "to **** with out customers"???  Choices are white, gray or horrid green.  Why can't WE CHOOSE what color background we want?  And if we can, why is it so damn difficult to figure out how or where to do that?????

    Well 349 posts now and 34 pages. It's pretty obvious that Microsoft are just using this forum as an insulting pressure-release valve - let the plebs moan a bit in public here and scratch their silly itch and they'll go away and leave us Important and Superior folk alone to get on with the BIG decisions. Actually, I bet nobody at Microsoft is even reading this thread at all any more. I bet all they have is a robot obscenity alert on it. It would almost be interesting to test it: The only way anyone gets a response from Microsoft is from a robot and even then, only when they swear at it.
