How to change the theme of Office 2013

Although I assume this was a joke, it would be fun to do it. The bright lights might actually wake up some of the Office programmers who have dozed off, plus whoever is supposed to post a response on this forum, as though Microsoft is actually paying any attention to us what-so-ever.

Not all that funny considering how poorly Microsoft is responding, or should I say not responding, to all the complaints posted on this forum, but I just got an email from them asking me to complete a brief survey. Does anyone actually think that Microsoft is paying any attention to a survey? This forum only demonstrates the contempt Microsoft has for its customers, you know, those of us who have supported Microsoft for all these years and gone through all the "updates" of Office. It's painfully clear that Office 2013 is an unmitigated disaster as far as colors go, and represents a giant step backwards from Office 2010. What just blows my mind is that moneybags Microsoft can afford to ignore posts from corporate IT people stating that they refuse to update to Office 2013 because their staff hate it. It's also incredibly insensitive that Microsoft also ignores all the complaints from those with vision problems who can't handle working with the program. 

If Mr. Gates, whose last position I believe was Software Engineer, read even one page of this forum I'll bet there would be a massive house cleaning at Microsoft. We can only hope that Office 10, or whatever it's called, addresses the pain points we've all said over and over.

If only MS applied even this amount of effort to the GUI for their latest products, imagine the improvements. I mean, with the modernization in equipment, they could even use color! Think of it!

Or, like many other applications available for the past two decades (including their own), they could allow their users to make up their own themes. Brilliant!

Seriously, though, I just can't understand their ... well, I was going to say "thinking", but clearly, there's not much of that going on... I just can't understand their point. With processors faster and more powerful than ever, why are they slimming down the accessibility? It can't be to save resources. I can't believe that even the minority of so-called "power users" are employing Office to stand on its head while whistling Yankee Doodle and dancing an upside down jig and finding their resources stretched noticeably. 

WHY?! 

But I've asked this before and still no answer.

Maybe some corporate buyer should purchase an ad in the Seattle paper that says nothing more than "Bill Gates! Have a look at this forum if you want to know why profits are shrinking. <include link here>"

Or maybe we could get Donald Trump to give us Bill Gates personal email...

Thank you for the feedback on Office’s new look. We are actively collecting, sorting and reading through feedback on Office 2013’s design and User Experience. As the audience for Office 2013 grows, we are being mindful of patterns and pain points that emerge from user feedback. While we do not have any additional Themes planned at this time, it is an issue we are watching very closely.

Thanks for the reply - going back to Outlook 2010 until we have a theme that doesn't fatigue the eyes.  Hope this is resolved sooner than later.
