Well, here we are years after the original complaint and 8 months on from my own about the awful white themes. No response from Microsoft. What have I done ? Invested in a 27 inch iMac 32 gB, 3.5 gHz and all the trimmings. I am now deliberately trying
to get away from Microsoft as a stated personal and business policy. I am in my mid-50's, I run 2 small businesses and I have all the standard nuisance health problems you get at 55+ one of which is increasingly poor eyesight. I simply CANNOT use this software
with such an anti-social lousy interface. It stinks of ageism. I don't mean to be nasty but it is painfully obvious that nobody over 18 had any input to the design process of those awful themes - at least, nobody over 55 did. I have gone back to Office 2010
running in VMware and got the Apple version of everything else I possibly can. Ok, I know it is going to take a while to completely migrate because I have a lot of VB code in my Office applications but I am a reasonably competent programmer still (eyesight
notwithstanding) and I am looking forward to replacing it all with whatever one does on an Apple.
