How to change the theme of Office 2013

I was surprised about the lack of choice of colours but thought I could live with it - until yesterday. Then working on a large spreadsheet with a tight deadline for a customer requirements document I managed to select multiple worksheets and "insert copied cells" without noticing until it was too late to undo. I then spent the next 4 hours recreating my work.

2013 is going tonight. What a complete disaster. Oh and I received a Windows phone as a work mobile - the default colour schemes on that are unreadable as well. Although at least they can be changed. Good luck Nokia.....

I would like to see some way to skin Office 365.  If Microsoft would allow user-made skins it would go a long way to make the product user-friendly. The limited options are awful, bad, not-so-bad, maybe a little not-so-bad.  How about some blue or green background options?  It shouldn't be painful to look at the screen for long periods of time.  White is too bright.

I concur with all other users in this thread. Office 2013 is an aesthetic mess. The ribbon is like looking at cold industrial steel with an inscription on it that is hard to read. The contrast is terrible. We will not be deploying this build anytime soon. Office 2010 offers much better aesthetics and performs better as well. I cannot remotely imagine what MS was thinking with this!

What I don't understand....this post has been up for a while and seems busy. The usability of Microsoft's flagship product in under attack and yet there has not been any feedback from Microsoft. Throw us a bone..."your feedback in under review and an update addressing this issue is expected out by????". Maybe if they told us it was coming with 8.1

All we are asking for is BLUE. For a company that the size of Microsoft, with the number of products they produce, who's major shareholder is one of the wealthiest man on the planet.....BLUE doesn't seem like to much to ask for.
