You can change the theme in Office by clicking File > Account page in any Office product with the exception of Outlook. In Outlook, Click File > Office Account to change the theme.

There are three themes available in Office 2013:

White - Default

Light Gray

Dark Gray

I give up. I nuked Office 2013, and replaced it with Office 2010. I'll just wait until MS provides a black theme. I'm sure that I'm not the only one to do this.

    Bye bye, 2013!

Concur with just about every post here. 2013 needs some color and darker options. It's awful, particularly Outlook.

    Beauty is only skin deep.

    Ugly goes to the bones

    (Quote from Murphy's law)

Would be so simple to create a skin and make it look better.  I'm susprises there is not ANY 3rd-party app or skin to do so.
